Faithwalkers, our women’s ministry is growing in number and in the Lord and we want to reach outside of our church doors and into the community like the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31:20, which says, “She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.”
Jesus was clear when he said, “…I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” Matthew 25:40
Jesus’ bold statement is what Faithwalkers want to take to heart. Our desire is to provide food for the local food pantries, help senior citizens with special needs, witness and help at the local women’s shelter, provide snacks and words of encouragement in the waiting room of our local hospital, and making quilts for residents of our local nursing home.
Please pray with us that we trust in the Lord and listen for his guidance in every aspect of the Faithwalker ministry in 2009.
